Here is the latest pair off the bench. I would like to thanks Steve Brewer for sending me the pattern. I took some time to work up a carving pattern that I l liked and this is it.

Thanks for looking.

Good design Mark. I really like how that borderline becomes the stem. Clean job all the way around.

That's a pretty cool way of mixing geometrics MarK!! Good job my friend.

Very nice work. I like the way you setup the picture also. That always sets work off.

Very nice Mark!

Who made the conchos?

I had these made by Ken Cureton from Glenrock WY I also get them made by Wages Silversmiths in CA.

Here is how the backs look and also how the back of the concho looks.

I agree I have never seen conchos like that. I would have assumed that they just had chicago screw backs, but definitely a cool way to attach the straps to the spurs basically underneath the concho. The only problem though would be if you had real fancy buttons on the hangers of your spurs, they would be covered by the conchos. But still very cool spur straps

First I`d like the straps very well...nice work...

but one question... why had you made the "holes for the spurs" so "high" ... I`ve never seen it that way before...

by little

I really like the straps, Mark, you did a good job on them. I like the tooling design....it's thinking a little out of the box....it's different, creates interest and looks really nice.

Ya'll are just so awesome when it comes to creativity. Your use of the different geometrics really create an appealing pattern!!You_Rock_Emoticon.gifbanana.gif Top notch work, Mark.
