MarkB Report post Posted March 2, 2010 Thanks everyone for your comments I like the way they turn out too. Mark Very nice Mark! Who made the conchos? I had these made by Ken Cureton from Glenrock WY I also get them made by Wages Silversmiths in CA. Here is how the backs look and also how the back of the concho looks. Cowboy316 Report post Posted March 2, 2010 Mark thanks for the pic of the backs of the straps and the concho i would have never thought the concho was like that is that a custom made or can i get conchos like that at the saddle shop Cowboy316
Aggiebraider Report post Posted March 3, 2010 Mark thanks for the pic of the backs of the straps and the concho i would have never thought the concho was like that is that a custom made or can i get conchos like that at the saddle shop Cowboy316 I agree I have never seen conchos like that. I would have assumed that they just had chicago screw backs, but definitely a cool way to attach the straps to the spurs basically underneath the concho. The only problem though would be if you had real fancy buttons on the hangers of your spurs, they would be covered by the conchos. But still very cool spur straps
little1983 Report post Posted March 3, 2010 First I`d like the straps very well...nice work... but one question... why had you made the "holes for the spurs" so "high" ... I`ve never seen it that way before... by little
