TwinOaks Report post Posted April 13, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum Pat. Nice work on the skull, you did a very nice job using the colors to show shadow. I'm sure it'll draw some more comments from some of the skull afficianados.
TomSwede Report post Posted April 13, 2008 My kind of guy, skull afficionado;-) Looks really cool, like twinoaks mention, with that black shading and the white lines to accent contours. I just recently tried that technique for a little flyfisherguy motif. It's a silhouette type motif so I used gold to accent the contours where the sun comes down and light up the outline of his back and the line flying away to meet a name inscription in gold. Neat stuff. Is it possible for you to get that pic in better quality? Oh BTW don't expect to see many skulls from me, I mostly do what others order from but I was challenged to make an Iron Maiden Eddie head the other day so so...I want to make a belt with it but currently loaded with work so we'll see.
