Thanks for the offer. I am looking for a pattern that is smaller at the top edge and sort of flairs wider as it leaves the waist and goes toward the hips. I can't tell if the one you have pictured does this or not.

The Al Stohlman How to Carve Leather Book has a Ladies Hip belt pattern that starts out narrow and gradually widens at the center of the belt. It has a slight curve to it as it dips down to a point on the bottom side in the middle of the belt if that makes sense. Thanks Deb

Found a hip belt pattern on wildthings.com its a patterns drawing package for schools, the belts work as do the bags!
