broncobuster Report post Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) Well some of ya know Ive had this big project to do that ive never done. cover a tour pack in leather. I had contacted Troy Savoie on here cause hes done this before. got some great pointers but ya know how it goes ya got to do it and figure it out on your own. and do it the way ya know how ya do your work. well I got it done. heres how it goes. this is the tour pak I got. I was suppose to cover it in leather to match the soft bags he has which look like this. so with a little of troys guidence I made this. sorry about the pics but i work on it till customer came plus altered it while he was here. the customer saw it and he was almost in tears. thought it was awsome and all the while here he kept complimenting me on how it turned out. needless to say it did turn out nice. but I will try other things if I do this again. ya know ya learn as ya go. first one is always the hardest. heres the pack n bags that match now. so after doing this job I have a job this winter already and its covering his trailer to match. plus he wants matching footboard and mudflap fringe. so his bike will weight a 100 lbs more with that fringe lol. but all in all it was interesting and I have this awfull feeling ill be getting more. so I hope I did ok and everyone likes it. Hope I did ok Troy Now the next big project a mountain man outfit. leather pants n shirt. Bonnie/Bronc Edited April 18, 2010 by broncobuster

rblalock Report post Posted May 18, 2011 Beautiful Job. I have been looking for a way to protect a subwoofer from the elements. Your Leather Covered Tool Pack has sparked some thoughts on a great way to do so.
