Higgy Report post Posted April 19, 2010 This is my first try on a bag this large and complicated. It had to evolve as I went. The next one will be a little different - better I think. This the first time I have tried Gum Tragacanth on the edges. I like it! I used Neatsfoot oil on the outside to finish it.

Higgy Report post Posted April 20, 2010 I really like that bag... a lot. What type of leather was used? It is chrome tanned about 6 or 7 oz. with a liner of suede split about 4 or 5 oz. I oiled it with Neatsfoot oil to finish it.
