Ambassador freak Posted April 28, 2010 Ambassador Report Posted April 28, 2010 First off we have, I thought i've give figure carving a go. I think i've pretty much mastered this skill now. I know , i know. Don't be hate'n! I'm really thinking of do a tutorial for figure carving. Here's a cuff i did for a good friend. He gave it as a b-day gift to Bobzilla. Bob is the bass player for a band called "hell yeah" and was the bass player for "damage plant". Anyway, on his back is a full back piece (tattoo) of two koi. So i put one of the koi on a cuff and this is what we have. Know him and one of the other band members are asking about guitar straps...crossing fingers here... Know on to the skull.. I pretty much did the dye job just like Tom has shown. Big thanks to brotha Tom!! I had a hardtime getting pics on this one, but here's what we have... -freak out Quote

Ambassador abn Posted April 28, 2010 Ambassador Report Posted April 28, 2010 Freak, I bow to your mastery of figure carving! I see a very strong "prehistoric caveman" influence in your line art. Simply superb. As for the cuffs, well what can I say... Beautiful design and outstanding color, as usual. Kudos! Quote
Members Urban Goth Posted April 29, 2010 Members Report Posted April 29, 2010 Dude that is some killer stick people. Love the cuffs as well, the skulls are fantastic any change of a picture of the cuff lying out flat?? Not a fish person myself but that is really nicely done. Quote
