Members Shorts Posted April 19, 2008 Members Report Posted April 19, 2008 Where can I buy from? I'm going to go ahead and put together a press for my holster molds. Quote
Members TomBanwell Posted April 19, 2008 Members Report Posted April 19, 2008 Hi Shorts, I'm not familiar with using 40 shore A durometer rubber for a holster mold, but I do use that silicone rubber all the time in my business. If it's silicone you're looking for you can contact Silicones Inc and find your nearest distrubutor http://www.silicones-inc.com/ Quote
Members Shorts Posted April 19, 2008 Author Members Report Posted April 19, 2008 Thanks for the link Tom. What I need gum rubber for is to be the bread in my "holster sandwich" so to speak, in order to compress the leather around the dummy gun to form the mold lines on my holsters. I found the post where Mr BOOMstick posted his setup and listed McMaster-Carr as his supplier for the gum rubber pads Quote
Ian Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 There are a lot of places that sell the rubber you need - do a search for '40 durometer rubber' - you'll get a million of 'em Quote
