esantoro Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 I've started using Edge Kote on my bag and strap edges and burnishing with Beeswax. I like it so much, I decided to buy beeswax in bulk. If anyone is interested in an ounce or more for $1.25 an ounce plus actual postage, please let me know. It would probably be the most economical to purchase a minimum of three ounces or more. esantoro Posted May 16, 2008 Author Report Posted May 16, 2008 I love the smell of beeswax. All you have to do to make a beeswax candle is pour melted wax into some shape with a wick down the middle and then let it harden right, or is there anything you must add to it. Working with leather leads to all sorts of cool obsessions: leather, anvils, alcohol lamps...now beeswax. I never knew there were so many cool uses. http://www.honeyflowfarm.com/articles/beeswax.htm ed Quote

I never thought we had many bees in this area but when I melted it down the flyscreens ended up covered in bees after the odour drifted outside! Tony. Quote
