Colman Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 My first attempt was a learning experiance. Lessons learned- Make sure the starting width is wide enough and form the pocket before sewing. Puzzle pieces are harder to carve than I imagined. Quote

Colman Posted April 24, 2008 Author Report Posted April 24, 2008 cool first. What are the puzzles for? Spider, Thanks. (The second will be better.) This is an Autism Awareness Ribbon. The puzzle pieces represent what autism is to most Doctors, a puzzle. My son is autistic, so this has special meaning to me. www.autismspeaks.org Crystal / Storm, Thanks, the Eco dyes are another lesson I am trying to learn. The colors seem to opaque after mutiple coatings, but I will figure it out or try something different. Johnny Quote
Members tjg Posted April 27, 2008 Members Report Posted April 27, 2008 How old is your son? My son Frank who is 12 is also autistic. I have been wanting to make something with the puzzle pieces, but haven't yet. I am trying to talk my father into making me a stamp for the puzzle piece. Tammy Quote
