Singer 29K60 Questions

I don´t know what sort of patcher machine that is but it is not a Singer 29K60. I GUESS it is one of these rough Chinese patchers, right? Like this one - see linked thread?

If it is the above check with LW Member Darren Brosowski he is selling them.

This (old) topic is about a Singer 29k60 patch machine. Not all patchers are alike. The presser foot in your video is not a standard Singer foot. Please start a new topic for your other brand/model. Also, please take more photos showing the name plate, base, cylinder arm and top parts. Show a picture of how you have it threaded and measure the length of the needle.

Make sure the needle is all the way up in the mounting bracket.

There are some members who own Chinese patchers and would be in a better position to assist you if you start a new topic.

There is nobody I know of who knows more about these Chinese patchers than Darren Brosowski.

I have just purchased 29k60. I was wondering what is the range of fabrics, and leathers this can sew? I got it for multiple purposes, but only know generally it can do what I want.  Also your above needle conversation, now has me confused.  Will the 

Leather DPX16, 135X16

Fabric DPX17, 135X17  needle sizes also work on my model? 29k60. Thank you!

Yes  the 29x 3,  needles basically the same as the 135 x 17,   which is the same as DPx17. All round point.  The 29x4, 135x16, DP x 16 are all leather points.
