Contributing Member Denise Posted January 20, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted January 20, 2009 Wow. Totally unique methods ("who'd a thunk it" type of response) and what an incredible result. Sounds like the DVD is worth it! Quote
MADMAX22 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 Finally got around to getting the video and watched it this evening and must say that is really interesting and worth the money. I must say it opened up many new avenues to leather working. I assume this is the only video but if there are any more available does anyone know? Thanks. Quote
King's X Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 I don't know what happen, but back when this thread started, I was never able to get the link to work. I read all of the responses on here and it sounds like the man is awesome. I was glad to help him in his time of need. Quote Greetings from Central Texas! The Grain Side Up blog #TheGrainSideUp

Moderator Johanna Posted July 20, 2009 Author Moderator Report Posted July 20, 2009 I heard from Billy's daughter today and Billy finally made it to London!! She asked me where she can get some leather in the UK for her son and dad to play with. HELP! UKRay, Badger- someone- tell me where to send her, please! I don't think Billy is going to tool, but who knows what he might teach her boy? I think I'll send the kid a real rawhide mallet- or we'll be hearing that metal hammer clanging clear over here! Members Spence Posted July 20, 2009 Members Report Posted July 20, 2009 I'm happy he's back with his family and that he can pass his expertise down the line. Johanna, you should revive this thread every 3 - 6 months. I'm sure the newer folks would be interested. I know I was right away. I can't wait to get started. Thanks Quote Spence Mendoza, TX, USA

Members iwannabeacowboy Posted July 20, 2009 Members Report Posted July 20, 2009 Billy and Mary are 2 amazing people. It's hard to believe her paintings look so much like real pictures. They were both given a gift of talent that most of us can only dream about. Wishing you and your family the best. Charlie Quote I'm never to old to learn about all the things life brings along.
