Members 1911 Operator Posted October 20, 2010 Members Report Posted October 20, 2010 Hello, I'm very new here. I have been making holsters and other related items for about 5 years. I started for personal reasons, but soon found if i wanted to keep doing this i would need to make some of my money back for supplies. It's a hobby only kind of sale. I'm not interested in making a full business out of this. I just like to unwind and make stuff. I'm open to suggestion, i'm open to ideas, I like to experiment and try new ideas. All comments welcome. This is a wrap of a common plastic holster. I like the fit of the plastic holsters, but I like the look of leather. This was a fun experiment, I was surprised when this sold before I was finsished making the proto type. I still need to make another one. Another design experiment. One of my most recent sales, for a of duty police officers daily carry. Light tan dye, and sealed with several coats of Neets Foot oil. Quote
