I've been communicating with our expatriot leather friend Nicolas, in the far east, Shanghai I think he said.

The discussion has been about boot making and certain aspects of construction.

There is more to the subject than can be put up at any one point, however I am willing to share what I can.

Recently we were talking about preparing the insole, the foundation of the boot,

and I offered to share a presentaion on my approach to the subject.

Walrus Shoe Company sells a book by George Koleff:

I know of several who have used it successfully.

I have pictures of the process of fitting up the last,

that is showing how I build a core size to a custom fit.

Any interest in seeing a presentaion of that?
