I just wanted to say hello to everyone! I just started working with leather a month or two ago but have admired it since I can remember. There is nothing quite like a nice piece of hand-carved leather! Attached is my first "from-scratch" piece, its a sheath for my hatchet. Up to this point, I have only worked with pre-cut kits, etc. I am quite addicted though!

Nathan, welcome to the forum, great to have you here. You're off to a wonderful start, you did real good ion the hatchet cover, love that color.

Really nice work there, Nathan. I like that hatchet sheath! Keep on posting your pics as you finish projects... We look forward to seeing them!

It looks like you are much better at this at the two month mark than I was. Your sheath looks very good. Keep up the work and don't forget to practice...
