Members GrampaJoel Posted December 13, 2010 Members Report Posted December 13, 2010 I believe it is called a Hamley roll. Very similar to a Cheyenne roll but smaller. Anyway, will some give me some instructions on how to make one? Is it just a short, up-turned, Cheyenne roll? Thanks Joel Quote

Hamleys made the first wade tree saddles. The Wade roll is a Cheyenne roll but it is wider from where the ears start or the base of the cantle and then it narrows up in the middle and then widens back out on the other side. If this is what your thinking I can explain further. Thanks, Matt Quote
Members GrampaJoel Posted December 14, 2010 Author Members Report Posted December 14, 2010 mtsadl, It could be called a wade roll for all I know, it looks like the picture below. I got the picture from a post by Elton Joorisity from his post on this forum in the saddle and tack makers section. Quote
Members seveneves Posted February 11, 2011 Members Report Posted February 11, 2011 I could be wrong but that looks like a cheyenne roll. Maybe it's the same thing? Quote
