I really love the necklace, what would something like that go for without the silver?

I've got a necklace identical to that one only with a long button where the silver is for $80.

How long is it and how does it clasp?

For working gear I use braided nylon rope for the core. If you want a really smooth finnished project a braided roo core works well. Braided rawhide core would be a little stiffer feel.

How long is it and how does it clasp?

I'll post a pic today.
