Members johnggrg Posted December 19, 2010 Members Report Posted December 19, 2010 Hi everyone! I have been reading everything I can on holsters lately amongst other things on the forum. But I haven't read to much about the Buscadero style gun belts. I was wondering how are these belts being made? Are they cut on a curve or does that happen over time? Has anyone ever made a "How to" on these belts? I have looked for that and never found anything on how to make them. Except a book but was looking for something online. May be a good one if someone was about to make one to share the how to on them. Just a thought. Any and all info appreciated. Thank you. john Quote

Thank you. john Hi, Check out John Bianchi's "cowboy western gun holster making" Use google to find it. It is a very good tool to get started building those types of holster/belt rigs. There are a lot of tips for making just holsters that can be applied to any style gun. Rick J. Quote Rick
Denster Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 +1 on the Bianchi videos. Go to www.smartflix.com and you can rent the set for a lot less than it costs to buy it. To answer your question they are cut on a curve and John shows just how to do it. Lots of good info. Quote

I looked up John Bianchi's "cowboy western gun holster making" Just don't have the money for that right now. But thank you for the information. Denster thanks for the reply. I went to the link you posted and looked up the video. Nothing found for those video. I didn't see anything online that explained how to make them. Just the video you have to buy. John I looked up the smartflix site and the Bianchi vids are there, check again, it looks like $22.95 mo. not bad for all of the leather vids they have. Search "Leather" on smartflix. Also check Tandy Leather, they have a Buscadero Belt / Holster book written by Al Stohlman Rick Quote Rick
