Ok, lets say I made a pair of shoes out of veg tan (including the outer sole), and used Fiebings antique on it. What would you suggest I use as a final finish before the shoes are worn?

Neat Lac is about the only product that I have found that will hold Fiebings antiquing paste where it belongs.

O K... Wolvie. IF, you did make a pair of shoes from veg tan leather, do you not think that they would be kinda stiff?

would you not want them to be flexiable?

How about a few pictures so we can see your fine work and see what the shoes look like. I agree with the neat lac, however I believe a nice leather dressing with some beeswax would probably help soften the leather a little, I use Skidmores saddle dressing, Aussie dressing works well also. good luck.
