leatheroo Report post Posted January 5, 2011 I wear a braided leather bracelet on my right arm and its been there for quite some time and was looking a bit dull. I recently had some tattoo work done...(yes, i am addicted) and it is normal practice to apply Bepanthan nappy rash cream to new tattoos. I ended up with cream on the bracelet so i rubbed it in! OMG...what a great finished it gave. The bracelet looks like new! It gives a very nice shine. Nappy rash cream gives a water proof finish but allows the skin to breath....leather sure likes it. It is about 4 months on and the bracelet looks as good as the day i applied the cream! The product is quite cheap and a little bit goes along way. cheers
Gawdzilla Report post Posted January 5, 2011 Well, I'm impressed. Worked beautifully on Saddle Tan at least. More experiments coming up.

Gawdzilla Report post Posted January 5, 2011 "A+D" ointment from Wally World is what I used. Worked on everything I tried it on. Very light application gives a "matte" finish, heavier applications look glossier.
