HorsehairBraider Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Very nice! It looks great on your horse too. What other things have you braided? Looks like you've had some practice! Quote
Members KT Good Posted January 14, 2011 Author Members Report Posted January 14, 2011 Thanks for all the positive feedback! I have not done much of anything yet... I've been trying to work on making some rawhide and I've put together some hondas out of that. The core in this one is twisted rawhide. I have an old reata that I'd like to cut up and use for a core next. The mare is actually my son's horse. She is registered as a brown but in the summer she is black as night... 24 and still sassy. Thanks again. Quote
Members roo4u Posted January 14, 2011 Members Report Posted January 14, 2011 its funny cuz my moms 28 y.o. gelding is a grulla and his nose is red like that which is one of the signs of the color....he just looks dark brown all the time, darker in the winter of course....but if you bend his hair back its silver underneath...then if you shave him he is silver grulla with dun factor that you cant usually see.
