I am posting to ask if anyone knows where I can get a pattern for a Mexican Loop Holster? I have made various types of holsters for years, specializing in shoulder rigs, and was asked if I could make a Mexican Loop Holster. After looking around at images, I figured out roughly how to make them, but I don't have any idea about a pattern and can't just knock one out as I don't have an appropriate gun to size it to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Quote

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Templin, I'd suggest getting the old standby.......Al Stohlman's book "How to Make Holsters". Around $12 at your local Tandy. It shows a couple of Mex loop holsters with a number of alternative ways of making the loop that ties the body of the holster to the back. Mike Quote
