Fleece Or Wool

I'm looking to find fleece or wool to line breast collars/bridles with in a color besides the golden. All I can find is the golden color. I did find some at Weaver's, but I don't have enough for the min buy.

A leather lining would be much better than fleece / wool

I'm all for a nice latigo lining. What I don't like about synthetic fleece for lining a breast collar is that the fleece can make a horse raw because of all the shoulder movement. Natural wool fleece would be better with the latigo better yet.

Is latigo a better choice than veg tanned? My wife was wanting me to dye to match her saddle. You can't dye latigo can you?

Looks like latigo isn't a great choice primarily because it will bleed its color at time. Here's a few threads I found that talked about this:
