Members tg lucas Posted February 15, 2011 Members Report Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) Well it was suggested that I post this in something other than the Gallery. This was my first colored work as I have always worked in monotoned work in the past. It was inspired by Mr. Paul Burnett who really encouraged me to expand my leather experience. For those who dont know his work it is amazing. oops going to have to learn how to post images, lol Edited February 15, 2011 by tg lucas Quote Art is not a mirror to reflect the world but a hammer to shape it.

Members resqman Posted February 16, 2011 Members Report Posted February 16, 2011 Coloring adds a lot to the piece. Your carving is well done. Great job. Quote
Ambassador abn Posted February 16, 2011 Ambassador Report Posted February 16, 2011 Wow. Truly great carving and coloring. Those are hard skills to master, but I'd say you've got them down pat. Congrats! Quote
Members WyomingSlick Posted February 17, 2011 Members Report Posted February 17, 2011 You done did yourself, and Paul, proud. Straight on impressions of any animal's face are difficult to do well, but you definately succeeded here. Attaboy! Quote (John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV) And the truth is that religion is nothing more than the lame attempt by largely ignorant people to bring sense and order to a world that was beyond their comprehension. Once you see religion for the delusional and superstitious artifact it is............... you will be free !
