Help With Juki 562

I just bought a juki 562 and I have never used this type of machine.

I threaded it by the book and the bobbin is all properly threaded.

But it just goes up and down and the material does not move forward.

What do I need to do?

#1 thought is there is a stich length lever that adjust the stich length ,forward

or reverse, it could be set in the middle , move the lever forward or backwards.

and Good Luck.

talk to the person you bought the machine from. they might help you out.

If you have the book go to the stitch length page #10&11

you need to push on the button on the bed just to the right of the plate over the bobbin

I am not sure what to do and I do better if someone tells me who has done it before.
