Watch Band Buckles

Recommended Posts

I still have not found anyplace to buy the watchband buckles that are real thin/skinny and use the same spring rods that a watch face uses to attach to the band. Any ideas? The regular smallest buckles I have found at most suppliers just won't do it, they make the bands to bulky for my taste. I will post a pic when I can find one that may help describe what I am looking for.

Maybe try your local watch repair shop and see if they have a source for them.

I tried with no luck, they would only sell 1 at a time, here's a pic not great but gets the idea across.

Jordan,

Here is another site. The buckles may be a little cheaper in price.

Hi Jordan,

Try doing a google search for watchmaking supplies, it turns up pages of suppliers.

In my old searches I was probably using the wrong key words. Thanks for the links, I have bookmarked them and will peruse them at my leisure. I've got to make a few bands for the farmers market in the spring, which can't come soon enough. I get more tired of this winter thing every year. An Arizona move is in the cards for me & the family by this time next year! Can't afford to move back to California anymore.

Cool links......thanks for those. I've dabbled a little bit in watch bands myself. The only problem with these buckles is ............. most of them are more expensive than the watches I wear. Saddest part is that the buckles are pretty cheap. I guess my watch buying criteria is pretty low. And yes I'm saying I have had watches that were cheaper than the 8.95 buckles. Best watch I ever had was a Timex I got on clearance for 5 bucks!! Hopefully someday in the near future I won't need one at all!!
