Members Shooter McGavin Posted April 1, 2011 Members Report Posted April 1, 2011 I ordered some strips from Springfield but theyre too short for what I need. Same thing with the horsebutt. Is there an online supplier that I can buy 1 1/2" horse strips for a 44 inch belt? Thanks Quote
Elton Joorisity Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Try Sheridan Leather...I've had horse butts that long from them. 307 674 6679 Quote
Members Rayban Posted April 11, 2011 Members Report Posted April 11, 2011 Is it out of the question to use two pieces? Cut them at 45 degree angles where they meet (center of the back), skive them, overlap them, glue, stitch.... Quote
Members Colt Hammerless Posted April 11, 2011 Members Report Posted April 11, 2011 What kind of lengths did you get in that package? I've been thinking of getting one or two of those bags from Springfield to make a belt, either a double layer or as a liner. Would most of them be long enough for a 34 or 36 waist size? Also what weight leather are they? Thanks in advance. Colt Hammerless Quote
