JS22 Report post Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) I'm pretty happy with the way my machine stitches look on the front side of my projects, but the backside looks no where near as nice as the front. I'm still pretty green at this machine thing and don't won't to make it any worse. It's especially a problem when I want to laminate exotics to a belt and the liner comes out looking like this. Any suggestions? First pic is the front. Second is the back. Edited April 2, 2011 by JS22
TwinOaks Report post Posted April 2, 2011 presser foot pressure, and a little polishing work on the needle plate. If that's a walking foot machine, you might need to 'smooth' the lower feed dogs.

Luke Hatley Report post Posted April 2, 2011 A smooth face hammer to it after a LITTLE amount fo water or even try your bone folder to smooth it out.
jimsaddler Report post Posted April 5, 2011 Are you using one weight lighter in the Bobbin Thread? This makes for a neater, better pulled up, underside, especially if you use and LR Needle point as they will give a nice even slope to the stitch. Kindest Regards. Jim Saddler.
