100% Wool 1" Thick

I am looking for a source of 100% wool that is 1 inch thick to buy by the yard. Like the 5 Star saddle pads. Who out there sells thick wool padding? Thanks, Caroline

You are talking about wool Felt? I know, anything other than wool felt is an oxymoron, but they have synthetic felt now; it doesn't take heat well.

I've always dealt with Aetna.

You have to know the density you want. F-1 weighs in at 16 lbs a sq yard, all the way down to F-26 that weighs around 7 or 8 lbs/sq yard. Those are in 1" thicknesses. F1 is very very hard, it doesn't bend at all, the higher numbers are more pliable.

I recommend Buffalo Felt,especially for quality and service. They are very tuned to the equine pad industry and they will also custom cut to your die/specs.
