276ccm Report post Posted April 16, 2011 (edited) Today I got a Pfaff 230 Industrial Sewing Machine for free.. someone moved out of the contry and didn´t have time or money to ship it, so I got it.. It is also a table for it.. It worked totally fine before it was taken apart, so I hope it´ll work when put together again. I will get a sewing machine company to look over it, bit does anyone know how a Pfaff 230 will work on leather? It was also equipped with something called Argo 42 / A, but I don´t know what that is.. anyone? This was the only number I found so that´s why I belive it is a Pfaff 230 Edited April 16, 2011 by 276ccm
276ccm Report post Posted April 16, 2011 When I image search for Pfaff 230, no one is looking like the one I got, so it might not be a 230 after all.. hmm, anyone :-)
CowboyBob Report post Posted April 16, 2011 There should be a brass plate on the back that has the model# on it like 463,483,a 230 is a household machine.

Thanks, I´ll turn it around tomorrow when I´m at the shop and look at the back.. cous when I image searched for 230, all 230´s I saw, looked like household machines and nothing like the one I got. :-) THe brass plate I found on this one with "230" was placed at the top, but that may have been attached later or for some other reason..
