two things i unfortunately do not possess. I have come to the conclusion that I am to old and feeble minded to learn to braid. I have tried but I can't get past a 4 plait braid. Anything else and I am totally confused.:helpsmilie:

Don't give up. Stick to yer guns with learnin. That way when the plait shoots yer nards, just smile and say " You aint beat me yet, ya damn varmit "...

Keep working at it. You're never too old to learn braiding.

There's a whole bunch of braiders here just waiting to help you over the rough spots.

Start with a tour of Brian's (Knothead) website khww.net Then start looking at the tutorials here.

perhaps try to find someone to show you how, rather than trying to learn from pictures. if you can do 4 strand then you can do more the basic mechanics of 6 or 8 or more strands are the same as 4 strands. keep on trying!

youtube has some short video's that would help ya also. I learn better by watching then by looking at a book, so maybe check that out.
