Ambassador leatheroo Posted May 27, 2011 Ambassador Report Posted May 27, 2011 Our local second hand store has a singer sewing machine for sale. It is set into a table for industrial sewing and has a treadle, but also has a 1/2HP clutch motor attached. The number on the front of the machine says 325, but i cant find anything about this model. I know zip about industrial machines, but i know these setups are very hard to find in my area. I pluged it in and the motor sounds good, but the sewing bit didnt actually go up and down, but the belt may have been off its track. Sorry i have so little information, but i would really like to have a machine to sew leather ( 2 x 2.5mm at the most) and would hate to miss this if it would do the job. thanks for any help. cheers Quote
CowboyBob Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 If you can get a pic I can help, the model# should be on a brass oval tag on the front. Bob Quote
Members simran Posted May 27, 2011 Members Report Posted May 27, 2011 Seem like I've heard that number before. It may be a K model made in Scotland. Could be wrong! Quote
