Well the Adler 205-25 has a hopping top foot with a stitch length that can be adjusted independant of the bottom feed dog, they use this in moccasins for a shirring effect. They will sew just under 1/2"

Hello,

I used to have a 205-25, really not of much value...

the have a drop feed dog, but not needle feed. They're sort of good for sewing heavier items, but without needle feed or unison feed, it's not really good for general leatherworking.

I used mine to stitch small leather goods that didnt put a stress or load on the feed system.

Basically a 205-25 is worth about $400....but nobody seems to really want them.
