Members TomG Posted May 29, 2011 Members Report Posted May 29, 2011 OK, I'm "relatively" new to all of this, but in browsing some on-line catalogs, I found a BK 5 POUND maul!! Thats' not a maul.. it's a sledge hammer <g>.... What would you ever use that for???? Even with 1/4" leather, I can put an end strap cutter through in 1, maybe 2 smacks.... Frank Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) Tom, There are clicker dies and mallet/punch dies for cutting out repetitive parts that you may need. You are going to need a very heavy maul if you are using the mallet/punch dies. Frank Edited May 29, 2011 by Frank Quote Never argue with a stupid person. Moderator Art Posted May 29, 2011 Moderator Report Posted May 29, 2011 Hi Tom, I have a 96oz BK, great for setting my maker's mark. I thought about neutering the Tom with it, but for some reason he hasn't been around lately.
