Members jwwright Posted June 1, 2008 Members Report Posted June 1, 2008 This is another ranch cutter that I finished up couple days ago. Made it for a gal who competes in ranch versatility and ranch horse competitions. I sure appreciate the knowledge and inspiration that I find on this forum. JW Quote

Members jwwright Posted June 2, 2008 Author Members Report Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks Art. The customer took it on the maiden ride yesterday, and really likes it, so that's the main thing. JW Quote
Ambassador abn Posted June 2, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted June 2, 2008 It doesn't get much nicer than that! Congrats on a fantastic job! Alex Quote
Members Yonatan Posted June 2, 2008 Members Report Posted June 2, 2008 Real nice work. Clean balanced lines and stamping. Nice contrasts, not overdone. And the loop seat worked out real pretty on this one. What method did you use to hang the stirrup leathers? Quote
Members jwwright Posted June 3, 2008 Author Members Report Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks for the comments. Yonatan........I have done 3 loop seats thus far, and I didn't do anything different than normal on my ground seat work. I fit the seat, then cut the slots for the stirrup leathers in the seat prior to gluing it down. I try to get it so there is no gaposis, and the tree is not visible . I must admit that on this saddle I got a little happy and cut the bottom slots a bit longer than I needed to do. JW Quote
