Members dreamlandsetters Posted August 15, 2011 Members Report Posted August 15, 2011 Hi all! I have made Kangaroo braided dog leads... My question is how do you soften the kangaroo lace to get a tighter braid? Is there a type of lotion you can put on the lace before or after braiding? Here is a picture of one of my leads! Thanks Tammie Calvert Quote
Ambassador The Major Posted August 15, 2011 Ambassador Report Posted August 15, 2011 I use leather dressing before, during and after plaiting. Some people use white saddle soap during the plaiting process, but I found dressing works just fine. since I dont have the time to make my own dressing, I use Pecards. Hi all!
