Singer 251 W ?

Is the Singer "251 W" going to be a walking foot machine? I searched but couldn't find anything - I assume it's because I don't have a complete model number, as in probably 251wXXX. The seller say's "We were sewing sofa and mattress materials."

There is a 299U251W but it is not anything that you will find remotely useful - unless you want to do buttonholes - but have a look at the link 299U251W

It doesn't have a walking foot,it's for tailors,drapes,slip covers.This machine is in the same family as the Singer's 241 & 281.It might be ok for chaps BUT they usually have a high speed motor on them so you'd have to change that.

It is not a walking foot machine. It sews cloth.
