SeventhSon Report post Posted August 30, 2011 What pans are you guys using for solo seats? I dont have the means to make my own so I have to buy em. I like the west eagle narrow style but they are out of businrss according to their website and no one seems to have them in stock, or wont ship to canada!!! So Im looking for suggestions on a similar shape pan that might be a little more easily accessible.

West Eagle has in fact gone out of business. you can still get some of their products through Custom Chrome. you can also order seat pans from J&P cycle, though if you do, and it doesn't say "Made in the USA", it's probably made in China. a great seat pan fabricator is Kevin Bass. you can reach him at baasmetalcraft.com

rickeyfro Report post Posted September 11, 2011 Actually West Eagle is closing down operations in california but they will still be operating in Japan, so everything will still be available just gonna have to pay for shipping, Here's a contact # that is still good, or at least it was last week 1(310)787-8577 Ask for Hiro or Guicci West Eagle has in fact gone out of business. you can still get some of their products through Custom Chrome. you can also order seat pans from J&P cycle, though if you do, and it doesn't say "Made in the USA", it's probably made in China. a great seat pan fabricator is Kevin Bass. you can reach him at baasmetalcraft.com

cjartist Report post Posted December 17, 2012 Wondering if I can bump this post up and ask a question of Benlilly... When ordering from Accufast, do you have them weld the bolts on? If so, is there a standard placement and are they aware of that? The reason I'm asking is because I would like to start by making a few seats that I could sell without first having any customers. Thanks!
benlilly1 Report post Posted December 17, 2012 Hi Cjartist, No we don't have Accufast do the welding. Seats that I plan to sell outright, my husband does the tabs and bolts. I'm sure he has the information on placement but he's not here to ask at the moment. For most of my orders we send the pan to the client and they have to fit to their specifications and then the pan is sent back to me. The seat I now have up for sale has it's own pivot bar so that it's adjustable. For the front mount/hinge area it is adjustable also. Here are 2 photos that might help.
