broncobuster Report post Posted August 31, 2011 (edited) Well Ive been MIA for a while summer has been busy repairs have been keeping me working. been lots of things happening not so good also. but things are slowing down so i can get caught up on stuff. n can get caught up on here again. I have a customer who seems to think im a miracle worker i leather n he will tell ya so lol so i guess ive got a loyal customer in him n he spreads the word to. hes a biker he was a senater of our state for many years n did all his traveling on his bike. he has the million mile bike thats in the sturgis harley museum. well this spring he was in a nasty bike accident which he lost his leg. wqell he now has a prothesis n just got his trike so this guy who talked after his accident no mkore bike but we all knew this wasnt true. he now has his trike n is even got more spirit than before. hes a biker advocate n campaigns for biker rights and other stuff. the man lets no grass grow under his feet. anyways he brings me his coats that were cut off of him. he was wearing a duster n a harley leather coat. both were cut off of him. the coat isnt gonna be to bad to put together but the duster ive patched over n over again he wont retire it lol. so im hope after this fix it will be retired(crossing my fingers) anyways he thinks i can do it. so here it is: ya think i can lol. heres before n when im done i will show after. he wants to have me stitch it up in red so to see where it was cut off cause he is a speaker for bike safety n road first aid. this weekend he want these to be displayed at the harley museum in milwaukee for the harley 108th so my work will be on display. I hope i can do it for him. heres the before: the first 3 is the coat n last is the duster. hard to take pics of these lol Edited August 31, 2011 by broncobuster

GrampaJoel Report post Posted August 31, 2011 Look in the mirror and Smile a whole lot at yourself knowing that someone believes you are a miracle worker. Then go get your red thread. It seems that from what you have said that it doesn't have to be pretty as he wants it to represent his crash. I'd just patch it up and make it look Frankenstein like. Bikers love the ruff stuff.
