Members hilow Posted September 3, 2011 Members Report Posted September 3, 2011 Hi all, I am looking for online stores that offers Fil Au Chinois linen threads at weights of 532 and 632, any suggestions to point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Contributing Member Ferg Posted September 4, 2011 Contributing Member Report Posted September 4, 2011 I did not see the weights of these threads but try these folks: http://www.bagsmith.com/products/Fil-Au-Chinois-Linen-Thread-Capsules.html Also: If you type "Fil Au Chinois linen thread" in Google you will get quite a few companies selling the thread. ferg On 9/3/2011 at 6:23 PM, hilow said: Hi all, I am looking for online stores that offers Fil Au Chinois linen threads at weights of 532 and 632, any suggestions to point me in the right direction? Anyway, those are the one ply linen thread and i am not so sure about the weight. I guess i will get one or two spools of those to try out but i would love to have different weights to work with (imagine sewing with 50/3 for all projects) ! I read that the company was in receivership and was bought over by two young frenchmen, so i thought someone might know where to get these thread in the differing weights. Google churns out only results for the one ply and it is already waxed..
