So I made a dual layer shark trimmed gunbelt for a buddy of mine. The end with the buckle holes is pretty thick, maybe like 5/16... The roller bar buckles I normally use from Tandy want to sit at about a 45 degree angle which isnt sexy at all. I'm thinking I need a buckle that has an offset or something. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

Shooter,

Have you tried an "Oval" hole punch. Maybe the additional width in the hole area would help that lay down? Can you post a picture?

I used a #7 (?) oval punch for the holes. Also, I dampened around the holes on the back of the belt and indented each one with the end of my wood slicker tool. That helped a bit. I've alread shipped it off, and the guy says he loves it and doesnt have any problems with the thickness in the front.

Sometimes I create problems where none exist I suppose.

Heres the belt though.
