My First Heavy Tooled Cue Case

finished my first nearly full tooled cue case. What do you think about it ?

I really like the unique design and color. I do have to ask what did you use to attach the top and bottom caps? It looks like nails or screws? Thanks for sharing!

The lid and bottom was nailed into some plywood.

Everything was tooled and antiqued afterwards.

Great looking case!

The designs are very cool, did you come up with them as you were working away or are they based on something out there?

The design is based on different parts of several maori tattoo patterns I have found. These were re-arranged and mixed together to build up the whole design for this cue case.

Great work! I've got bits and pieces and paper full of ideas for the cue case I plan to make.

What did you use for the padding and where can I get some??

Right now I just plan on using scheduel 40 pipe and fleece lining!
