Members TroyS Posted June 13, 2008 Members Report Posted June 13, 2008 Ok, I just finished carving my first Motorcycle seat for the owner of a cycle shop nearby. He has an "Old School" chopper that's Black with Copper colored flames. So, I took his business logo, and the FLAMES idea and ran with it ... I used an "Ultima" seat pan. The foam on the seat was not very condusive for long rides, so I modified it! I used an exercise mat from Wal-Mart ($5.86) to do the padding and WOAH! What a difference... Here's what I have so far... I have to stitch it together yet, but I'll post those pictures once I'm finished... Tell me what ya think?? Troy Quote Troy
Members bustedlifter Posted June 13, 2008 Members Report Posted June 13, 2008 Looks good. Now comes the fun part, putting it together. I see I'm not the only connoisseur of cheap,uh, inexpensive padding. Quote
Members TroyS Posted June 13, 2008 Author Members Report Posted June 13, 2008 HA HA HA !! It's cheap and it's STILL better than the stuff that came on it! Here's a couple pics of the stained seat... Troy Quote Troy
Members Storm Posted June 13, 2008 Members Report Posted June 13, 2008 (edited) Troy, That seat is looking sweet. I especially like the detail you got on the spokes. Like the color you finished it with. Waiting to see more. Storm Edited June 13, 2008 by Storm Quote Please keep in mind that unless I ask for anyones critique I do not want nor require same.
