sinpac Report post Posted November 21, 2011 Friday I ordered my bobbin threader from Bob. He suggested I get the belt as well since it would fit in the same box. Before After

sinpac Report post Posted November 21, 2011 Nice job ! Is it a user or a looker now that you have fixed it up ? It's a user. I bought it a few weeks ago. It was pretty rough I tore it down stood back and said what the hell lets paint it up. I am new at the leather craft I figured this would be a good machine to learn on. Thanks for the kudo's
Ken Nelson Report post Posted November 21, 2011 May I ask where did you get the decals. It looks SUPER. Ken
sinpac Report post Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) May I ask where did you get the decals. It looks SUPER. Ken I hand painted them on there with gold model master paint from hobby lobby. It's a metallic enamel. I also have a medical illuminated magnified swing arm lamp. Edited November 21, 2011 by sinpac

Yarndiva Report post Posted November 22, 2011 Lovely machine! I have one too and am now inspired to re-paint a bit of the decals too as yours came out so well. I also saw you have another treadle in the room. Good for you!
CustomDoug Report post Posted November 22, 2011 The fact that you hand painted those decals and did such a great job of it is the really impressive thing to me. Anyone can spray black paint (though I know you did more - like taking it apart, etc) but the hand painting details is not something the average joe's gonna be able to pull off. Heck of a job and an awesome looking machine! Thanks for posting the pics.

CowboyBob Report post Posted November 23, 2011 I hope you have some paint left for the new bobbinwinder......it's gray & you might have to move your handwheel alittle to the right for it to work. Bob
