snowgoose Report post Posted January 28, 2012 Very Nice. I really like the look of the round holder. Does the top part spin around at all or is it fixed?
steelhawk Report post Posted January 29, 2012 Very nice. I was planning on making one similar to your second one, but now I will also make a round one. It solves the problem of storing creasers and groovers quite nicely.

ZackG32 Report post Posted February 1, 2012 Here is my stitching horse i just finished, i'm thinking of maybe putting some leg's on it to kind of have it as a stool. Looks good! I would make it a stand alone stool. thats what i plan on doing but I'm going to build the Pony that is in The Art of Sewing Leather by Al Stohlman. I really like the idea of getting rid of the bolt! It is such a pain in the rear, theard gets hung up on it all the time!

hurricane Report post Posted February 6, 2012 All three are really nicely done. what kind of wood did you use? Panther Well the 2 tool holders are Oak and the stitching horse I just used pine, I am building the one in back of Al Stohlmans book but that one I am building out of Canadian maple, Should look really sharp with a blood red stain on it, will have to wait and see when I am done
