Howdy pards..

Now I´ve made my first IWB holster for a customer... Want to thank all of you

that have helped me out with tip and pattern..

Thanx pards. Its a fun holster to make. To bad I dont have any dummies so I can make it for

Outher guns to.

Here is the back side. Next time I will put the T-nuts betwin the leather.

I just used a bone and a modeling tool.

Beautiful work!.

One thing you might think about for next time is using two tee-nuts t attach the straps. That prevents the straps from twisting and loosening up over time.

Very nice. I just finished my first IWB holster and posted it also. I have problems with the mouth of the holster collapsing when the gun is drawn. I can still get the gun back into the holster, but I'd be curious if you did anything to reinforce the mouth?

The reinforcement piece that wraps nearly ALL the way around the holster mouth surely helps.

Another thing you can do is to force-dry the holster with heat after molding. The good thing about that is that it increases rigidity. The bad thing about that is that it increases rigidity.....in a holster that's going to be pressed against your body by your belt......

I've taken to using horsehide almost exclusively for IWB holsters. It tends to be more rigid, either with or without force-drying.
