Members Jimnx Posted July 5, 2008 Members Report Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) Hi All ! As you can tell im not one for posting, but I do like this forum and the community that has grown from it. I thought I would share something I just made. Ive been experimenting with eco-flo antique gel dye, it was a bit too heavy for my liking and became difficult to remove so I ended up dying the whole project black. Oh well. As much as I like the geometric stamps I find them tricky to use especially if you don't take your time and start rushing off at all angles like I did, luckily I was able to wet the leather enough to soak out some of my mistakes. I like to think it worked out okay in the end despite not really going to plan. JohnD Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) I tend to shy away from the basketweave, although, someday I plan to sit down with it and learn to work it out. I think the end result came out great. I dig the pirate bottle. Members Spider Posted July 6, 2008 Members Report Posted July 6, 2008 Jimnx, Cool looking wrap there. I think it worked out well. I know what you mean about the rushing and the stamp running off on you. Looks good though. P.S. Love the "V for Vandetta" pic.
