Jimnx Report post Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) Hi All ! As you can tell im not one for posting, but I do like this forum and the community that has grown from it. I thought I would share something I just made. Ive been experimenting with eco-flo antique gel dye, it was a bit too heavy for my liking and became difficult to remove so I ended up dying the whole project black. Oh well. As much as I like the geometric stamps I find them tricky to use especially if you don't take your time and start rushing off at all angles like I did, luckily I was able to wet the leather enough to soak out some of my mistakes. I like to think it worked out okay in the end despite not really going to plan. Jimnx Edited July 5, 2008 by Jimnx
JohnD Report post Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) I tend to shy away from the basketweave, although, someday I plan to sit down with it and learn to work it out. I think the end result came out great. Spider Report post Posted July 6, 2008 Jimnx, Cool looking wrap there. I think it worked out well. I know what you mean about the rushing and the stamp running off on you. Looks good though. P.S. Love the "V for Vandetta" pic.
