Members chancey77 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Members Report Posted March 9, 2012 Damn, this one falls just outside the rules, swivel knife, 2 boarder stamps and a hair tool. WHY did I use that hair tool???? It's 18" or 455mm in diameter. Now I have a dilemma................... hahahahaha That is awesome...but a no go for this months challenge:) WAA WAA. Swivel knife, beveler, backgrounder.....you should have those:)
Members chancey77 Posted March 9, 2012 Author Members Report Posted March 9, 2012 Do like my Dad did me. "Sylvie, if you don't be quiet and go to bed RIGHT NOW... Your bed time will be right after dinner for a month! Now get in there and get to sleep." I love a nice sharp knife... can't stand a dull one at all... drives me batty. Yes, I know the computer image and light box trick. I'll look around and see what I can find. I've got to get started on another guitar strap soon... this one with elk tracks.... And God knows how many wet formed pick pockets I'll have to make over the next few days. lol I kind of hope it's a lot. 30 or 40 @ 40 bucks a pop=1600 bucks....still don't want to make that many???!?!?!?!?! You are very good at it! Take advantage of an un-tapped market! But make a celtic knot first...hahaha
Members PL01 Posted March 9, 2012 Members Report Posted March 9, 2012 You have a computer...just google images celtic knots and use your computer screen as a light box and trace one out:) I would never in a million years try to draw one from scratch...Celtic knots are my KRYPTONITE! That is why I knew it would be a good challenge! There are lots of great people on this forum rocking some knots...not me:) but other people:) Like Sheridan Carving...Celtic Knots are a specialty all their own that people struggle with...like me:) My knife is so incredibly sharp right now I feel like a kid again...lost!!!!!!!!! I wanted to do this challenge before I started back on the door panels, it needs to be just a little less sharp! Goodness gracious like butter!!!!!!!!! Greasy, full fat, delicious butter! So many over layer knife marks in that one i just did hahahaha...didn't help both my kids where screaming not wanting to go to bed...a little distracting... i like my excuses hahahahhaaha:) Tighten up I know I am slacking today... BUT MY SK IS SHARP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could shave with it right now:) Knots are not that bad, only really one rule ya need to follow. They go over one, under one, over one, under one, over one, under one, over one, under one & repeat until you get to the end My Gallery
