Members rkleather Posted March 12, 2012 Members Report Posted March 12, 2012 My buddys wife just got a .38, she has been wearing it in a floppy Uncle Mikes holster. I put this together. I think ox blood looks cool coming out of the black… Now get some stag grips on this lil pistol and I think it will be complete:) Quote
Members particle Posted March 12, 2012 Members Report Posted March 12, 2012 That looks great! That ox blood does indeed look cool, especially with the airbrushed black edges. Quote
Members husker Posted March 13, 2012 Members Report Posted March 13, 2012 I like the colors, I actually picked up some ox blood a while back to try and experiment and mix up some black cherry type color but haven't even opened it up yet. Might have to dig it out now. Quote
Members Eaglestroker Posted March 14, 2012 Members Report Posted March 14, 2012 That's a piece I would expect from particle, nice work indeed. Quote
Members Big O Posted March 14, 2012 Members Report Posted March 14, 2012 Beautiful! (even if seeing the outline of the trigger itself in the molding gives me the heebie jeebies) Quote
Members rkleather Posted March 18, 2012 Author Members Report Posted March 18, 2012 Thanks guys! I really appreciate the compliments. She really liked it and a few of her girl friends want me to make them one, right on. Quote
Members LeatherCaptain Posted March 19, 2012 Members Report Posted March 19, 2012 (even if seeing the outline of the trigger itself in the molding gives me the heebie jeebies) Totally agree with this. The holster is nice but I'd just be careful molding behind the trigger. Quote
Members rkleather Posted March 19, 2012 Author Members Report Posted March 19, 2012 On the next ones I will plan on only making impressions on the front side of the trigger. Better safe… Thanks guys for the heebie jeebies:) Quote
